BrakeVac II
Part No. MBV1000
Hydraulic brake systems operate at extremely high temperatures, which can lead to rapid oxidation of brake fluid. Also, brake fluid is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture. Water in brake fluid reduces the boiling point and creates the potential of “soft pedal” and/or sudden brake failure when brakes are overheated. ABS systems contain expensive and intricate components that are sensitive to fluid deterioration. Varnish deposit build-up can lead to brake system malfunction. Some automobile manufacturers are starting to recommend regular brake system flushing as a preventative maintenance service. This service safely and effectively removes all old brake fluid and replaces it with new brake fluid.
The BrakeVac ll is a technician-friendly solution for servicing hydraulic brake systems. Some similar brake flush service equipment operates by shop air which can contaminate new brake fluid with moisture. BrakeVac ll is powered by the vehicle’s 12-volt DC battery which eliminates the possibility of moisture contamination.
